Created With Purpose

Who would have known that God had a special purpose for this baby boy when he was born? Even though during his birth, there was a charge in all the land to kill Hebrew male babies.

Jochebed his mother chose life and decided to keep baby Moses. Her bravery and courage was rewarded and she was able to raise him until she handed him over to Pharaoh’s daughter. She may have been a little heartbroken to do this but the Lord had a special plan.

God was going to use Moses mightily. God spoke to Moses in a burning bush in Exodus chapter 3. He asked him to go to Egypt and deliver His people from the bondage they faced in Egypt. Moses obeyed and God worked miracles to deliver the entire nation of Israel.

If it wasn’t for Jochebeds bravery and courage to choose life, there would be no baby Moses. And without Moses, the history of the Israelites deliverance in Egypt may have looked a lot different.

God has a special plan for each life he creates in the womb. Just imagine what each aborted baby could have been and what they could have accomplished if those responsible only chose life.
